Big Bend Ranch Rodeo 2015

CHAMPION :  JO-/Hatchet team New Mexico

Besides winning cash and prizes, the team wins a bid to the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championships held in November in Amarillo, TX. The JO-/Hatchet team scored in all five events, winning two of them--- Team Doctoring and Wild Cow Milking. JO-/Hatchet team members are captain Bobby Valdez, Kyle McCauley, Ace Peterson, Clayton Smith and Everett Ashurst.

GEE, a 7 yr old Dun Mare ridden by ridden by Clint Jackson from the PaloDuro Ranch/Lazy 11 Cattle Co was named Top Horse. Clint Jackson was also named Top Hand.



2 ND PLACE TEAM: Palo Duro Ranch/Lazy 11 Cattle Co from Gruver, TX

3 RD PLACE TEAM: Reding/Lochhead Ranches team from Denton and Terrell counties in TX.

Ranch Hand Class: 1st Place, Randy White, 2nd Place, Randy White, 3rd Place, True Burson

Cowboy Class: Tied for 1st Place, Tell Good and Mary King, 3rd Place Will Lorenz, 4th Place, Trinity Haggard

Junior Class: 1st Place,  Benjamin Lee, 2nd Place, Randy White, 3rd Place, Randy White

Senior Class: 1st Place, Elizabeth Yeary, 2nd Place, Dusty Burson

Youth Working Cowhorse Competition:

Senior Event (13-17): ): 1st Place, J.W. Yeary, 2nd Place,  Henry Dushay

The winner of each class in this youth competition wins an automatic bid to the Championships in Amarillo
